Serving Franklin County residents since 1990, Hope House is a non-profit Christian emergency relief organization working closely with local churches, county and city agencies to provide physical and spiritual assistance to individuals and families through Christ-centered giving and caring. Assistance for the basic necessities are provided through the food pantry with the help of community volunteers as well as other miscellaneous needs.
While we welcome canned and boxed shelf-stable food items, financial donations go much further since we have access to wholesale (below cost) grocery items. Please call ahead to schedule a drop off of these or your gently used clothing and/or furniture items. Tax deductible receipts are available.
We are constantly in need of volunteers to assist in a variety of different activities. If you or your group (church, school, business, homeschool, club, scout troop, 4H, students, clients, etc.) is interested in serving, an application form and confidentiality form is required. Download this form, print it and mail it to us.
In 2010, Hope House has ministered to over 3,000 households representing over 11,000 people in our community
